Children’s Liturgy of the Word

The Gospel adapted for Ages 5 to 11 (younger children welcome when accompanied by an adult)

Every Sunday @ 9:30 am Mass

At the beginning of mass,

the priest invites interested children to participate

in Children’s Liturgy of the Word
& we walk over to the school together and return at the offering for the rest of Mass.

What happens during Children’s Liturgy of the Word?

Children & leaders pray using age-appropriate language

in a very interactive way:

Creed

Prayers of the Faithful

Closing Prayer

Return to church for consecration of gifts

Jesus told his followers to love God like the little children do.

Then Jesus took the children in his arms and blessed them.

Come and see how children love God

& help them understand Jesus’ message.

We need more volunteers!

Wonderful books & aids make preparation easy.
