Meeting Minutes-February 2008
1. Welcome, introductions and opening prayer-Judy Metzger
2. Principal’s Report-Mr. Campione
A. Terra Nova’s are scheduled for next week
1. Children need to arrive on time
2. Late students will be held to not disturb other students
3. Pre-tests will start this week
4. Next week’s testing will begin with cognitive testing
5. Terra Nova’s will be administered in the morning
B. Budget planning for 2008-2009 is underway
C. Awaiting information from Survey Committee
D. Snow day make up will be determined-details will follow
E. Safety Grant
1. Documentation was submitted for funds designated for safety checks
2. Money will come from the state
3. Funds will be cover 2007-2008 school year
4. Attendance rate will affect amount of dollars received
3. Assignment Notebooks-Karen Favia
A. New assignment notebook were made available for 2007-2008 school year
B. Mr. Campione is against requirment of assignment notebook for all section B
C. Assignment books were purchased thru preorder for the 2007-2008school year
D. New cost for 2008-2009 school year will be 5.75
E. Will pre order will extra copies for the schoolstore
F. Orders will be due in the end of March 2008
G. The books will be sold at $6.00
4. Movie Night-

6. Tuition Assistance
A. FSO will be giving school $7600 toward tuition assistance

7. Dominic’s Program-Joy Ito
A. FSO will be initiating a “Cash Back Program” through Dominic’s Food Store with funds going to St. Mary FSO
B. Sign up with Dominic’s card on line or through school
C. Can sign up family and friends with this program

8. Pizza Night-Celeste Schall
A. Ordering is currently underway
B. Orders are taken until
C. Goal is 1,000 pizzas

9. School Magnet
A. Committee is currently finalizing the magnet order
B. Each school family will receive a magnet free of charge
C. Orders will be placed in 2 weeks
10. Mom’s Rock T-shirt
A. Committee is finalizing the details for t-shirts
B. Orders will be taken in May
C. Committee with determine where funds from this event will go
11. Ice Skating
A. Scheduled for March 14th at Twin Rinks

A. Special Food Days
1. Working with Walk-A-Thon committee for special food at the event
2. There are 3 remaining special food days in the school year
3. Edwardo’s Pizza make up from snow day will be March 14th and will be a casual dress day
B. Box Tops
1. Casual dress day has been declared for Feb 29th
