Food service Professionals is where St. Mary’s orders the hot lunches. They serve over 300 Catholic Schools in the Chicagoland area. All meals are nutritious and based on state guidelines as far as fat grams and calories.

About the second week of the month a menu is sent to all students who are in school full time. The student can pick and choose from the menu which day they wish to order. There are two hot choices every day. All lunches MUST be pre-ordered. We only order what we need. 1% milk (white or chocolate) is included in the lunch price or can be ordered separately. These orders are then sent in to the school office with the monies by the third week of the month.

On the day your child has a hot lunch, the teacher will give a colored card to him/her. We have two colors to determine which lunch is to be given to the child in the lunchroom.

The hot lunch consists of two parts – the hot and the cold. For example, one choice might be a hot dog and French-fries in the hot part and a bun, ketchup, mustard and ½ of tacos, chicken nuggets and mini corn dogs.

Currently, the price of a hot lunch is $2.35 and includes milk - $.30 for milk only. Credits are issued for students who are absent only in the case of an illness.
