Live Virtus Training

The Protecting God's Children Awareness Program 4.0 is training for any/all adults engaged with youth activities on how to become better protectors of children from child sexual abuse. Participants will learn how to become safer adults who are a part of the solution to prevent, and respond to, child sexual abuse. These in-person versions sponsored by Saint Mary Parish include a licensed VIRTUS facilitator to help guide participants through a robust discussion to emphasize key points.

Participants should register for the training through the Archdiocese Virtus link/webpage: 

  1. Go to VIRTUS Online.

  2. Select "First Time Registrant" button.

  3. Select “Begin the registration process.”

  4. Select “Chicago, IL (Archdiocese)”

  5. For the question “Previous?” Select “NO”

  6. Create your User ID and password.

  7. Select “St Mary's Parish (Organization)”

  8. Provide contact information and complete registration.

All training sessions will be held in the Marian Room (lower level Rectory), 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm.
