Head over to Deerfields Bakery (BG) every third Sunday of the month after 10:30 Mass (approx. 11:30 am) for some fellowship and food. Our next gathering is on February 16th! Grab some coffee and brunch or a donut and head upstairs to get to know your fellow young parishioners.

Mission
St. Mary Parish Young Adult Ministry first aims to create an avenue for young adults to get to know other young adults within our parish. With three separate masses and a large population of people outside of their 20's and 30's, it can be easy to miss that there are indeed other parishioners in this age group! By having our monthly meeting nearby, we are able to have a consistent and approachable atmosphere to foster formation of friendships and community.
Second, since our young adult population is on the smaller side, we aim to take the community we develop with our monthly meetings out to engage with the plentiful scheduled programming for our age group throughout the Chicagoland area, particularly the programming nearby at neighboring parishes in the northwest suburbs, and in lake county.
All Catholics in their 20s and 30s are welcome to join our community as we seek to build relationships within our own parish and with the broader area Catholic community.
